Gulf Wide Safety Systems, LLC (GWSS) is knowledgeable and experienced in providing services for the electronic fire detection (addressable) systems and gas detection systems that are installed on the newer built vessels, often referred to as part of the "vessel management systems" (VMS). Our field representatives are computer-literate and experienced with the programs and software that are part of these newer systems. GWSS has provided our start-up and certification services to most of the larger drilling vessels built in recent years, both foreign and domestically built vessels. This includes the systems that are installed by others and needing to be tested and certified by the USCG, ABS, DNV, Lloyds and other marine classification societies. GWSS has experience in most any type of the fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems and extinguishment agents. Gulf Wide Safety Systems has always specialized in the marine drilling industry, and this will remain our main focus.
